The Metropolitan Police are investigating two linked crossbow attacks in Shoreditch, London.

A 44-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man were injured in the incidents on March 4 and March 14, respectively.

Both victims are out of the hospital; the woman was shot in the head and the man in the neck, close to the location of the first attack.

Police Commissioner James Conway has called for witness cooperation amid increased police presence in the area.

Authorities are conducting a manhunt with a sense of urgency to apprehend the assailant responsible for the attacks.
