Shane Pryor, a 17-year-old charged with a 2020 homicide, has been recaptured after a five-day manhunt following his escape from a Philadelphia hospital.

Pryor was originally taken to the hospital for a hand injury and had a handcuff key in his possession upon recapture, though its use remains unconfirmed.

Accomplice Michael Diggs, 18, has been arrested and charged for allegedly aiding Pryor's escape by driving the getaway car.
