Tekashi 6ix9ine was arrested for violating the terms of his supervised release related to a 2019 racketeering case.

His arrest took place at the Manhattan federal courthouse, where he was scheduled to appear before Judge Paul A. Engelmayer.

According to his attorney, Lance Lazzaro, 6ix9ine was arrested for three technical violations, but he expressed confidence that these would be dismissed at the next court appearance.

Details about the specific probation violations have not been disclosed, leaving some uncertainty surrounding the circumstances of his arrest.

The contract he recently signed with Kartel Music Group includes stipulations that require him to avoid legal issues and arrests.

6ix9ine has emphasized the importance of freedom to him, stating that the past four years have been particularly challenging.

During the hearing, he expressed remorse for being late and insisted he did not intend to violate probation terms, highlighting that he had previously completed four and a half years of supervised release without issues.

The judge acknowledged that while some of 6ix9ine's actions might have justification, there is a concerning pattern of noncompliance with his release terms.

Despite his recent legal troubles, 6ix9ine is set to earn $1 million for a 10-song album and $250,000 per show during his upcoming tour.

He will remain at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn until his next evidentiary hearing, which is scheduled for November 12.

This arrest follows shortly after 6ix9ine signed a $6 million deal with Kartel Music Group on October 8, 2024.

In September, he released a diss track titled 'Repuesta' aimed at his ex-girlfriend, further highlighting his tumultuous personal life.
