The incident began as a fight during a block party associated with the OURFest National Coming Out Parade, occurring around 10 p.m. on the 200 block of South 13th Street.

Inspector D.F. Pace stated that the fight escalated into stabbings, but no arrests have been made yet.

The suspect was apprehended by police shortly after fleeing the scene, but his identity has not been released.

Authorities believe the victim may know the suspect, suggesting the stabbing could have resulted from an argument.

Items from the block party, such as canopies, were reportedly used as weapons during the altercation, according to Inspector D.F. Pace.
