Lindsey Burrow, the widow of rugby league legend Rob Burrow, has announced her upcoming memoir titled 'Take Care: A Memoir of Love, Family & Never Giving Up,' set for publication on February 27, 2025.

The memoir will highlight Lindsey's role as a physiotherapist in the NHS, her dedication to raising awareness and funds for motor neurone disease (MND) research, and her personal sacrifices while caring for Rob.

Lindsey provided round-the-clock care for Rob, who lost his ability to move, talk, and eat independently due to MND, all while raising their three children.

Together with Rob and his friend Kevin Sinfield, Lindsey campaigned for MND awareness and raised over $19 million for charity.

Rob Burrow, diagnosed with MND shortly after retiring from professional rugby, became a prominent advocate for the disease before passing away in June at the age of 41.

In January, Prince William honored Rob and Kevin Sinfield with CBEs for their contributions to MND awareness, expressing admiration for Lindsey's strength and positivity.

In his foreword for Lindsey's memoir, Prince William reflects on Rob's legacy and describes him as a source of inspiration, stating he taught others to 'dare to dream' despite adversity.

William's support for Lindsey's memoir comes just three months after Rob's death from MND, underscoring the impact of their family's journey.

Prince William has referred to Rob Burrow as a 'legend of Rugby League,' praising his enduring spirit and the legacy he left behind.

Lindsey hopes her memoir will not only tell her family's story but also highlight the vital work of caregivers in the U.K. and inspire others facing their own challenges.

The book cover features seven photographs of Lindsey and Rob, showcasing their life together, including family portraits and significant moments.

Royal expert Cameron Walker recently shared the news of the memoir and its cover on social media, confirming Prince William's contribution as the writer of the foreword.
