The current cast features Brody Grant as Ponyboy, Brent Comer as Darrel, Jason Schmidt as Sodapop, and Sky Lakota-Lynch as Johnny, among others.

Recently, Alex Joseph Grayson took over the role of Dallas Winston, succeeding Tony nominee Joshua Boone, who left the production on January 26, 2025.

Before this role, Grayson appeared on Broadway as Jim Conley in the 2023 revival of Parade, where he earned a Grammy nomination for his work on the cast album.

The musical has garnered critical acclaim, winning the Tony Award for Best Musical, along with awards for Best Direction, Lighting Design, and Sound Design at the 2024 Tony Awards.

The Outsiders, adapted from S.E. Hinton's novel and Francis Ford Coppola's film, opened on April 11, 2024, and is set in 1967 Tulsa, Oklahoma, following the lives of Ponyboy Curtis, Johnny Cade, and their chosen family of outsiders.

This production is celebrated for its engaging music and powerful themes of survival and acceptance in a challenging world.
