PBS's Emmy-winning series Great Performances will feature the Roundabout Theatre Company's production of David Henry Hwang's acclaimed play, Yellow Face.

The production boasts a talented cast, including Kevin Del Aguila, Ryan Eggold, Francis Jue, Marinda Anderson, Greg Keller, and Shannon Tyo.

Yellow Face tackles complex themes of race through a comedic lens, culminating in a powerful climax that resonates with audiences.

In a twist of irony, Daniel Dae Kim stars as an Asian American playwright who protests against yellowface casting while casting a white actor as the lead in his own play.

Kim expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to reach a broader audience with this significant work through PBS.

David Horn, Executive Producer of Great Performances, praised the play for its thought-provoking content and artistic excellence.

The live capture of Yellow Face will occur during the final week of performances from November 21-23, 2024, with the PBS premiere date to be announced.

Currently, Yellow Face is enjoying a limited engagement on Broadway, running through November 24, 2024, at the Todd Haimes Theatre in New York City.

Described as relevant, insightful, and very funny, Yellow Face is a Broadway triumph and a Pulitzer finalist.
