The highly anticipated show '300 Paintings' by Sydney-based comedian and visual artist Sam Kissajukian opens today at the Vineyard Theatre in New York City.

Following a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where it sold out and won the Lustrum Award for Outstanding Show, this production is set to captivate New York audiences.

The show humorously delves into the relationship between art, mental health, and creativity, offering a glimpse into Kissajukian's personal journey.

In addition to the performance, a curated exhibition of Kissajukian's artwork will be available for audience viewing in the lobby of the Vineyard Theatre before and after each show.

Kissajukian, who has toured internationally over the past decade, has held six solo exhibitions at notable venues since 2022.

The production has garnered numerous accolades, including eight awards at various Australian Fringe Festivals, and has received five-star reviews from critics, including The New York Times.

In a remarkable creative feat, Kissajukian produced 300 large-scale paintings during a manic bipolar episode in 2021, reflecting his mental states and experiences during that time.
