'Redwood' tells the transformative story of Jesse, portrayed by Menzel, whose life changes dramatically due to a life-altering event, leading her to the redwoods of Northern California in search of strength and healing.

Idina Menzel, an acclaimed Tony and Emmy Award-winning performer, is set to star in 'Redwood the Musical', which will debut in 2025.

Menzel will be joined by a talented cast, including De’Adre Aziza, Michael Park, Zachary Noah Piser, and Khaila Wilcoxon, all reprising their roles from the musical's world premiere at La Jolla Playhouse earlier in 2024.

Performances for 'Redwood' will begin on January 4, 2025, at the Nederlander Theatre in New York City, with previews starting on January 24 and an official opening night scheduled for February 13.

Ticket prices for the opening night range from $130 to $160, with high demand expected for the closing show on February 22, 2025.

The musical, written and directed by Tina Landau, features music and lyrics by Kate Diaz and Landau, with Menzel contributing to the lyrics and concept.
