Renowned Broadway costume designer Carrie F. Robbins passed away at 81 due to a brief illness with Covid.

Robbins' illustrious career covered over 30 productions, including notable works like 'Grease', 'Irving Berlin’s White Christmas', and 'Agnes of God'.

She achieved significant recognition, with two Tony Award nominations and four Drama Desk Awards for her costume design.

Beyond Broadway, Robbins served as a Master Teacher of Costume Design at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.

Her creative pursuits extended to designing dental equipment, playwriting, and puppet making.

A book showcasing her work, 'The Designs of Carrie Robbins', has been published to honor her legacy.

A memorial service is scheduled for May 13 at Brotherhood Synagogue in Gramercy Park.
