Major organizations in Thailand, such as Bank of Ayudhya and the Stock Exchange of Thailand, are already leveraging AWS services to drive innovation and enhance operational efficiency.
Financial services firms like 2C2P and Ascend Money are also set to utilize AWS for improved payment processing and innovative financial solutions.
This new region features three Availability Zones designed for high availability, equipped with independent power, cooling, and security, all interconnected by ultra-low-latency networks.
Dr. Asis Unyapoth from Thailand's Digital Government Agency hailed the AWS region as a major milestone for the country's digital transformation, emphasizing its role in ensuring cloud security for sensitive data.
AWS has made a commitment to upskill the local workforce, having trained over 50,000 individuals in Thailand since 2017 through various initiatives, including AWS Academy.
