This expansion is particularly significant for deep-tech firms, which often struggle to secure funding despite their potential to drive innovation in sectors like healthcare and energy.
The network comprises leading venture capital firms, corporate investors, and institutional investors dedicated to co-investing alongside the EIC Fund.
By expanding the network, the EIC aims to enhance collaboration between private investors and public funds, thereby creating a more robust investment ecosystem for European startups.
The EIC Trusted Investor Network has grown to 111 members, collectively managing €336 billion in assets, aimed at supporting deep-tech companies across Europe.
The EIC Fund is focused on bridging the financing gap for high-potential startups, enabling them to grow, scale, and compete on a global stage, which is essential for driving technological advancements in Europe.
The EIC Fund has successfully completed over 150 investment rounds in startups and SMEs, with 60 of those rounds occurring in 2024 alone, attracting more than €1.6 billion in co-investment from private investors.
Members of the network adhere to a Trusted Investor Network Charter, which outlines shared values and commitments to foster company growth throughout Europe.
The EIC Trusted Investor Network is open to additional investors who align with its mission, providing a pathway for interested parties to connect with the EIC Fund team for potential membership.
