The wellness check was initiated by the New York Fire Department following a 911 call reporting a woman in distress at the facility.

Reports indicate that she passed a psychiatric capacity test with a perfect score, contradicting evaluations made by her guardian regarding her health.

In a recent interview, Williams expressed frustration with her guardianship, stating, 'This system has failed from top to bottom regarding this guardianship.'

Williams has described her life as isolated, claiming she has only been allowed outside twice in the last month and has no access to the internet or visitors.

The future of Williams' housing and conservatorship remains uncertain as both Adult Protective Services and the NYPD are investigating her living situation.
