CodePath boasts an impressive job placement rate of 80% for its alumni, with a notable 97% increase in placements for Black, Latino/a, and Indigenous graduates.

The average salary for CodePath graduates is $92,000, underscoring the program's effectiveness in preparing students for competitive roles in the tech industry.

In addition to CodePath, the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) is launching GenerationAI to empower educators with the knowledge and tools necessary to integrate AI into classrooms.

Maggie Johnson, Vice President of Google.org, emphasized the transformative potential of Generative AI in education and the necessity of equipping teachers with foundational digital competencies.

ISTE+ASCD will receive $10 million to train approximately 200,000 educators through online courses and webinars focused on AI.

Teachers in urban districts and those serving low-income students are particularly underserved regarding AI training, highlighting a critical gap in educational resources.

The overall goal of these initiatives is to empower the next generation of educators and professionals with essential AI skills, aiming to reach over half a million students and educators.
