Tom Craig, a 28-year-old Australian Olympic field hockey player, was arrested in Paris on August 6, 2024, for allegedly purchasing cocaine from a street dealer.

The incident occurred shortly after midnight, around 12:30 AM, in a trendy neighborhood known for its theaters and shopping, where police witnessed the drug transaction.

Craig was found in possession of approximately one gram of cocaine, while a 17-year-old dealer was arrested with a larger quantity of various drugs, including ecstasy and metaphedrone.
