Cate Blanchett and Alfonso Cuarón are teaming up for a new psychological thriller series titled 'Disclaimer' for Apple TV Plus.

The first teaser trailer for 'Disclaimer,' directed by Cuarón, has just been released, showcasing the show's artistic style and high-tension moments.

Based on the best-selling novel by Renée Knight, the series stars Blanchett as journalist Catherine Ravenscroft, who is confronted with her past after receiving a mysterious novel.

As she seeks to uncover the author's identity, Catherine must confront the implications for her life and relationships with her husband, Robert, played by Sacha Baron Cohen, and son, Nicholas, portrayed by Kodi Smit-McPhee.

The ensemble cast also includes Lesley Manville, Hoyeon, Louis Partridge, and Leila George, with Indira Varma serving as the narrator.

In addition to Blanchett and Cohen, the supporting cast features Kevin Kline and Kodi Smit-McPhee, enhancing the series' appeal.

The series boasts impressive cinematography by Emmanuel Lubezki and Bruno Delbonnel, with a score composed by Finneas O’Connell.

'Disclaimer' is set to premiere exclusively on Apple TV Plus on October 11, 2024, with the first two episodes available at launch.

Following the premiere, new episodes will be released weekly until November 15, 2024.

This series marks Cuarón's first project under his exclusive TV deal with Apple, following his acclaimed Oscar-winning films 'Gravity' and 'Roma.'

Apple TV Plus continues to enhance its content offerings with high-profile projects, including 'Disclaimer' and other acclaimed series like 'Severance' and 'Ted Lasso.'
