Hallmark+ Launches Sept 10: New Series, Exclusive Movies, and Monthly Perks
August 15, 2024Hallmark Media has announced the launch of its new streaming service, Hallmark+, set to debut on September 10, 2024, rebranding the existing app Hallmark Movies Now.
Hallmark+ will offer a mix of original series and movies, along with exclusive member benefits such as monthly shopping discounts and rewards.
Membership options for Hallmark+ include an annual fee of $79.99 or a monthly fee of $7.99, providing access to exclusive content and various perks.
The service will debut original series including 'The Chicken Sisters,' based on KJ Dell’Antonia's bestseller, with new episodes airing every Thursday starting September 12.
'Celebrations with Lacey Chabert,' an unscripted series honoring community heroes, will also premiere, featuring new episodes released weekly.
'The Chicken Sisters' follows a competition between two families owning rival restaurants in the Deep South and features a talented cast including Schuyler Fisk and Lea Thompson.
Additionally, the 'Love on the Danube' movie trilogy will kick off with 'Love on the Danube: Love Song' on September 10, followed by 'Royal Getaway' on September 19, and 'Kissing Stars' on September 26.
'Love on the Danube: Royal Getaway' tells the story of a heartbroken woman on a solo honeymoon cruise who meets a prince.
The Jane Mysteries series will return with three new installments, starting with 'The Jane Mysteries: A Deadly Prescription' on September 10, followed by 'Murder at Moseby' on September 19, and 'Too Much to Lose' on September 26.
Tamera Mowry-Housley will host 'Hallmark VIP Movie Pass,' providing behind-the-scenes stories and insights from popular Hallmark movie stars.
Hallmark+ will also provide exclusive benefits such as monthly free greeting cards, unlimited eCards, and rewards points, including a $5 coupon each month.
