August 2024 is poised for significant token unlocks across various cryptocurrency projects, with nearly $1.5 billion in tokens set to be released.

Among the notable unlocks, Ripple will release 1 billion XRP tokens valued at approximately $609 million on August 1.

Sui will also unlock 64 million tokens worth $50 million on the same day, representing 2.56% of its circulating supply.

On August 1, dYdX will unlock 8.33 million tokens valued at nearly $11 million, adding to the day's significant activity.

Wormhole is set to unlock 600 million tokens, which constitutes one-third of its circulating supply, on August 3.

This unlock will contribute significantly to the overall total, with Wormhole releasing tokens valued at $180 million.

Following a recent airdrop launch in April, Wormhole's unlock represents 33.3% of its circulating supply.

The Sandbox will unlock 205 million tokens worth $69 million on August 14, making up 9% of its circulating supply.

On August 15, StarkNet will unlock 64 million tokens valued at $35 million, representing 4.4% of its supply.

Arbitrum will follow suit, unlocking 92.6 million tokens worth $67 million on August 16, amounting to 2.8% of its circulating supply.

Avalanche will unlock 9.5 million tokens valued at $268 million on August 20, constituting 2.42% of its circulating supply.

Additional minor unlocks in August will include tokens from Galxe, ApeCoin, Oasis Network, and Pixels, with values ranging from $11 million to $13 million.
