Evie Networks is launching 'Autocharge' technology to simplify the EV charging process in Australia.

Autocharge allows users to start charging immediately after plugging in their vehicles, without the need for a smartphone app or RFID card.

The technology recognizes users' cars and details, aiming to make charging more convenient, especially for those unfamiliar with EV technology.

Autocharge will be available to most EV drivers after a one-time activation in the Evie App, with a trial starting in August 2024.

Bernhard Conoplia, Head of Public Charging, highlights the importance of simplifying the charging experience, with initial support across 83% of the Evie network.
