Armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, convicted of manslaughter in the death of Halyna Hutchins on the set of 'Rust,' is seeking to overturn her conviction citing prosecutorial misconduct.

The same manslaughter charge against Alec Baldwin was dismissed due to withheld evidence, raising questions about Gutierrez-Reed's involvement.

The evidence in question, related to live rounds on set, was not included in the Rust file.

Despite legal experts believing her chances of success are slim, Gutierrez-Reed also requests release pending appeal and the removal of the special prosecutor from the case.

The judge will schedule a hearing on Gutierrez-Reed's motion, which could potentially conclude the criminal cases against her and Baldwin for Hutchins' death.

Gutierrez-Reed also faces a separate felony charge for allegedly carrying a gun into a bar.

The shooting incident occurred when Baldwin accidentally fired a gun during a rehearsal, killing Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza.
