Noah Lyles won the men's 200m at the U.S. Olympic track trials in a record-breaking time of 19.53 seconds.

Lyles' performance secured his spot on the Olympic team and broke the previous record held by Michael Johnson.

As a three-time world champion in the event, Lyles is now aiming for a sprint double after also winning the 100m.

Gabby Thomas won the women's 200m, indicating her potential for a gold medal in Paris.

Sha'Carri Richardson, despite finishing fourth in the women's 200m, had a notable performance.
