Italian Founders Fund (IFF) has launched a €50M fund to support pre-seed and seed-stage startups with Italian founders.

The fund is backed by over 100 Italian founders and is led by CEO Lorenzo Franzi.

IFF aims to invest in 25 companies, with initial investments ranging from €500,000 to €1.5 million.

The fund has already invested in startups like HR tech company Jet HR and customer research platform Glaut.

IFF plans to position Italy as a top destination for starting a company by providing support with key hires, commercial expansion, and strategic partnerships.

Managed by Koinos Capital, the fund signifies a positive trend in Italy's startup ecosystem amidst a slight downturn in funding raised by startups last year.
