Three Black men have filed a racial discrimination lawsuit against American Airlines after being removed from a flight in Phoenix due to a complaint about body odor.

The men, who did not know each other, believe they were targeted because of their race.

American Airlines offered to rebook them but eventually allowed them back on the flight.

The airline stated they are investigating the incident and take discrimination seriously.

This incident adds to a series of discrimination allegations against the airline, including cases involving a Chicago woman, track star Sha'Carri Richardson, and musician David Ryan Harris.

In the past, the NAACP had warned about discrimination on American Airlines, leading to promised changes.

The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages for the trauma endured and was filed in federal court in Brooklyn.
