Broadway News has announced a new production of Romeo + Juliet, debuting in autumn 2024.

Rachel Zegler and Kit Connor are set to make their Broadway debuts as Juliet Capulet and Romeo, respectively.

The production will feature music by Jack Antonoff and choreography by Sonya Tayeh, adding a contemporary twist to the classic narrative.

Early access to tickets will be available in May 2024 for fans eager to secure their seats.

Beyond Romeo + Juliet, Rachel Zegler stars in West Side Story, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and will be in Disney's Snow White, while Kit Connor is known for Heartstopper and will feature in The Wild Robot.

The show aims to juxtapose the celebration of youth and hope with the frustration felt by young people towards the legacy of their forebears.
