27-year-old Kulsuma Akter was fatally stabbed in Bradford city center while with her baby and a friend.

Her husband, Habibur Masum, has been charged with her murder and possession of a bladed article.

Masum was apprehended after a four-day manhunt and is scheduled for a court appearance on Thursday.

Four additional arrests have been made for suspected assistance to an offender and drug offenses.

The police have initiated an internal review of their prior interactions with Ms. Akter through the Independent Office of Police Conduct.

West Yorkshire Police are conducting patrols to alleviate community concerns following the incident.
