The album 'HOP' achieved a total of 187,000 equivalent album units during the week ending December 19, 2024, with 176,000 units coming from traditional sales.

This achievement ties Stray Kids with BTS for the most Number One albums on the Billboard 200, with six each.

Notably, 'HOP' made history as the first album by any artist to debut at Number One for their first six entries on the Billboard 200 since the chart's inception in 1956.

Stray Kids' 'HOP' marks the sixth consecutive release to debut at Number One, following previous chart-toppers like 'Oddinary', 'Maxident', '5-Star', 'Rock Star', and 'ATE'.

The group previously achieved Number One with their albums 'Oddinary' in 2022, 'Maxident' in 2022, 'Rock-Star' in 2023, '5-Star' in 2023, and 'ATE' earlier in 2024.

With this latest success, Stray Kids surpassed the record held by the late DMX, who had five consecutive Number One debuts.

The Top Five albums on the Billboard 200 include Kendrick Lamar's 'GNX' at Number Two with 100,000 units, Taylor Swift's 'The Tortured Poets Department' at Number Three with 85,000 units, and Sabrina Carpenter's 'Short n’ Sweet' at Number Four with 69,000 units.

Currently, Stray Kids are on their 'dominATE' world tour, having recently completed a show in Jakarta, with the Asian leg concluding in Hong Kong on January 18-19, 2025.

As part of Spotify’s Wrapped 2024 initiative, Stray Kids were recognized as the third most-streamed K-pop act of the year, following BTS and Jungkook.
