The plot follows contract workers from Weyland-Yutani's Jackson's Star mining colony who hijack a spaceship to scavenge cryo-pods from a derelict space station, leading to deadly encounters with xenomorphs.

Following its theatrical run, "Alien: Romulus" became available for digital rent or purchase on October 15, 2024, and will be released on physical media formats on December 3, 2024.

The film will also be available for streaming on Hulu starting November 21, 2024, coinciding with the holiday season.

Additionally, "Alien: Romulus" will be released as part of a digital two-movie bundle with the original "Alien," celebrating its 45th anniversary.

Looking ahead, an FX prequel series titled "Alien: Earth" is anticipated to premiere in 2025, with rumors of a potential crossover with Predator.
