These scam apps, such as 'Sparrow Wallet' and 'Samourai Wallet', result in unsuspecting users having their funds stolen.

Despite user and creator reports, the fraudulent apps remain available on the App Store.

The scam apps acquire private keys or seed phrases from users, which are then used to steal funds.

By pretending to be legitimate wallets, these apps manage to rank high in search results.

A scam app targeting Electrum wallet users has already resulted in significant financial loss for a user.
