AI Startup 11x Raises $50M, Plans to Launch 20 New AI Agents by 2024
December 20, 2024The company has successfully raised approximately $76 million in funding, attracting notable investors such as Andreessen Horowitz, Benchmark, 20VC, and Lux Capital.
In September 2024, 11x secured $50 million in Series B funding led by Andreessen Horowitz, which valued the company at around $320 million.
Currently, 11x employs around 50 staff members, having quadrupled its workforce in just three months, primarily by hiring engineers.
Looking ahead, 11x plans to launch up to 20 new AI agents in 2024 and is actively seeking skilled engineering teams for acquisitions.
CEO Keith Fearon highlighted the importance of acquiring exceptional engineering talent in the AI sector, indicating that revenue is not a priority in these acquisitions.
The recent acquisition of Opkit, a voice AI startup backed by Y Combinator, was primarily aimed at enhancing their engineering capabilities.
The new AI agents will serve various functions, including revenue operations, sales enablement, customer success, solution engineering, and marketing.
In January 2025, 11x will launch Alice 2.0, a significantly improved version of its lead generation agent, rebuilt using advanced large language models from companies like OpenAI and Anthropic.
Alongside Alice 2.0, a new version of their multi-lingual voice agent, Jordan 2.0, is also in development, with plans to create at least eight new agents.
Founded in London in 2022, 11x is a European AI startup that relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2023 to tap into a larger talent pool and meet investor demand.
Alice 2.0 will be fully autonomous and self-learning, capable of analyzing the effectiveness of business messaging and re-engaging sales leads over time.
Currently, 11x operates two digital workers: Alice, focused on lead generation and customer outreach, and Jordan, a multi-lingual voice agent handling calls in over 30 languages.
