Formlabs Unveils Form 4: Fast, User-Friendly 3D Printer for Mass Production
April 17, 2024
Formlabs has introduced the Form 4 3D printer, priced at $4,500, capable of producing up to 400 models per hour.
The printer is user-friendly and has been utilized by prominent organizations such as Microsoft, Ford, and NASA in previous versions for prototyping and manufacturing aids.
The 3D printing market is projected to expand to $150 billion by 2032, with the Form 4 being one of the available options for entrepreneurs.
Advanced features of the Form 4 include an LCD screen with bright backlight for faster printing, enhanced build volume, integrated camera, and better connectivity.
Formlabs asserts that the Form 4 can rival injection molding for small part production and will offer cost-effective 'General Purpose Resins'.
A specialized Form 4B model tailored for medical and dental applications will start at $6,299.
Pre-orders for the Form 4 are open, and shipping is set to commence in May.
