St. Louis Blues Sign Top Prospect Jimmy Snuggerud to Three-Year Deal

The St. Louis Blues have signed forward Jimmy Snuggerud from the University of Minnesota to a three-year contract as of March 28, 2025.
This signing came shortly after the Gophers were eliminated from the NCAA tournament by Massachusetts, losing 5-4 in overtime.
Snuggerud, who is 20 years old, was previously drafted by the Blues as the 23rd overall pick in the first round of the 2022 NHL Draft.
In his junior season, he led his team with a total of 24 goals and 27 assists over 40 games.
During his time at Minnesota, Snuggerud was a top-10 finalist for the prestigious Hobey Baker Award, accumulating 66 goals and 69 assists in 119 games.
He also played a key role in the United States winning the world junior championship in 2024, scoring five goals in six games.
Coming from a hockey family, Snuggerud's father, Dave Snuggerud, played for the Gophers and had a four-season career in the NHL.
