The NHL has officially announced the production of the second season of its all-access docuseries 'Faceoff: Inside the NHL,' in collaboration with the creators of 'Formula 1: Drive to Survive.'

Steve Mayer, the NHL's president of content and events, emphasized that Season 2 will feature more all-access footage, aiming to provide deeper insights into the lives of players and their families.

Mayer also highlighted that the upcoming season will blend drama and emotional moments, promising an enhanced viewing experience.

Brady Tkachuk, captain of the Ottawa Senators, has been confirmed as the first player to appear in Season 2, which is set to premiere in 2025.

Tkachuk was also featured in the first season, showcasing his family and personal life.

The first season included six episodes that highlighted the 2024 playoffs and featured prominent players like Connor McDavid and Matthew Tkachuk.

Season 1 was released on Amazon Prime Video in October 2024 and focused on the personal and professional lives of NHL players and their families.
