Omaha's journey in the NCAA Tournament, however, came to an end when they faced St. John's, losing decisively with a score of 83-53 as a No. 15 seed.

While the specific terms of the contract extension were not disclosed, it is known that Crutchfield's previous contract included a base salary of $275,000 along with $45,000 in performance bonuses.

Following this success, Crutchfield received a three-year contract extension that will keep him at the helm through the 2029-30 season.
