MLS Expands Global Reach with Sunday Night Soccer and New International Broadcast Deals
March 28, 2025
Major League Soccer (MLS) is set to enhance its international presence with the launch of a new weekly production called Sunday Night Soccer.
To support this initiative, MLS has formed distribution agreements with various international media partners, including SBS in Australia, SpoTV in Southeast Asia, and Dubai TV in the Middle East.
Additional partners include TV3 in Spain, Sportdigital in Germany, Charlton in Israel, GO in Malta, and SkyK in Korea.
These agreements will enable MLS matches to be aired on linear television channels across different international markets, increasing visibility beyond the Apple TV platform.
In conjunction with these efforts, MLS has strengthened its collaboration with Footballco, a UK-based digital media brand, which will provide access to highlights from hundreds of MLS matches and enhance coverage of major events like the MLS All-Star Game, Leagues Cup, and MLS Cup.
As part of the ongoing season, key matchups for MLS Game Week 6 include New England facing off against NY Red Bulls and Inter Miami taking on Philadelphia on March 29, 2025.
Moreover, MLS's media team is actively pursuing additional linear distribution partnerships in other territories to further broaden its reach.
