During his time at Vasco da Gama, he scored 11 goals and provided seven assists in 36 games.

His performance earned him recognition as a 2024 MLS All-Star and a finalist for the Newcomer of the Year award.

The new contract for Orellano is a Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) deal, allowing the team to optimize their roster under the league's new U22 initiative.

His role is crucial for FC Cincinnati as they revamp their attack following the trade of MVP midfielder Lucho Acosta to FC Dallas.

Orellano made headlines by winning the 2024 AT&T MLS Goal of the Year for a stunning 79.81-yard free kick, the longest recorded in MLS history.

This offseason, FC Cincinnati also made headlines by signing striker Kévin Denkey from Cercle Brugge for a club-record fee of $16.2 million.
