Real Salt Lake Signs Promising Ghanaian Striker Forster Ajago for 2025 Season
January 24, 2025Real Salt Lake has signed 23-year-old Ghanaian striker Forster Ajago, who was acquired through Stage One of the MLS Re-Entry Draft on December 13, 2024.
Before joining RSL, Ajago played for three colleges in the U.S. from 2020 to 2023, netting a total of 28 goals in 58 games.
He transferred from the University of Delaware to the University of Dayton, and finally to Duke University, where he earned Second-Team NCAA All-America honors in 2023 for scoring 14 goals in 18 games.
Ajago had a brief stint with Nashville SC, scoring two goals in 15 appearances last season, including a memorable brace in his debut match.
His previous professional season with Huntsville City in MLS NEXT Pro saw him score seven goals in 12 games.
