LAFC has officially signed midfielder Yaw Yeboah to a two-year contract that extends through 2026, with an option for 2027.

The club's co-president and general manager, John Thorrington, praised Yeboah as a dynamic and versatile player whose MLS experience aligns well with the team's objectives.

During his tenure with Columbus Crew, Yeboah played a crucial role in the team's successes, contributing to victories in the MLS Cup 2023 and Leagues Cup 2024.

The 27-year-old Ghanaian international previously made a significant impact at Columbus, scoring 6 goals and providing 13 assists in 93 matches over three seasons.

Yeboah's rights were acquired by LAFC from San Diego FC in exchange for $50,000 in General Allocation Money after he was selected in Stage 2 of the 2024 MLS Re-Entry Draft.

Before joining MLS, Yeboah had a notable career in Europe, playing for clubs such as Wisła Kraków, FC Twente, and Lille.

On the international stage, Yeboah has earned four caps for Ghana and participated in the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup while registered with Manchester City.

Looking ahead, LAFC's 2025 season is set to begin on February 18 against the Colorado Rapids in the Concacaf Champions Cup, followed by their MLS opener on February 22 against Minnesota United FC.
