He is the second player from the A-League to join Real Salt Lake in consecutive transfer windows, following the signing of winger Lachlan Brook in July 2024.

During his tenure at MacArthur, Piol demonstrated his scoring ability, netting four goals in 14 appearances, including three goals and one assist in the current A-League season.

Piol has signed a three-year contract that extends through 2027, with an option for 2028.

This acquisition adds attacking depth for Real Salt Lake, especially following the winter trades of Chicho Arango to San Jose and Anderson Julio to FC Dallas.
