Mateusz Klich, a former Leeds United player, is currently with D.C. United in Major League Soccer (MLS) after leaving Leeds in 2023.

At 34 years old, Klich has made 70 appearances for D.C. United, scoring 7 goals and providing 13 assists, but his contract is set to expire at the end of 2024.

During his time at Leeds United from 2017 to 2023, Klich made 195 appearances, scoring 24 goals and providing 21 assists, playing a crucial role in their promotion during the 2019/20 season.

Recent reports indicate that Klich will not return to Poland but is finalizing a move to Atlanta United for an initial fee of $300,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM).

At Atlanta United, Klich will join notable players such as goalkeeper Brad Guzan and defender Derrick Williams.

As he approaches 35, Klich aims to leverage his promotion experience with Leeds to succeed in the upcoming 2025 MLS season with Atlanta.

There were earlier reports suggesting Klich might return to Poland to join Cracovia, which sparked interest among Leeds United fans hoping for his return to Elland Road during the January transfer window.
