November 20, 2024Wilfried Nancy has been named the 2024 Sigi Schmid MLS Coach of the Year, a significant achievement for the Columbus Crew.

The Coach of the Year award is determined by votes from MLS club technical staff, media, and current MLS players, with Nancy winning against finalists Gerardo 'Tata' Martino and Chris Armas.
Nancy is the first Crew coach to win the Coach of the Year award since Sigi Schmid in 2008, and he has been a finalist for the award in each of the last three seasons.
