The LA Galaxy, a historically successful franchise in Major League Soccer, is emerging as a strong contender for the 2024 playoffs following an impressive season.

Finishing second in the Western Conference, the Galaxy narrowly lost the top seed to LAFC on the final day of the regular season.

They advanced to the Western Conference semifinals by defeating the Colorado Rapids 4-1 in the first round of the playoffs.

In the semifinals, the Galaxy will face Minnesota United, with the match scheduled for either November 23 or 24, 2024.

Should they continue their playoff success, the Galaxy could host up to three additional home games, including the Western Conference final, provided they do not face LAFC.

If they reach the MLS Cup final, the Galaxy will host the match unless they are matched against a higher-seeded team, such as Inter Miami.

The 2024 MLS playoffs commenced on October 22 and will culminate with the MLS Cup on December 7, 2024.
