On December 5, 2024, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, visited Surrey Square Primary School in London to promote her new children's book, 'Flora & Fern: Wonder In The Woods'.

During her visit, the Duchess engaged with students by reading from her book and distributing cakes, creating a lively atmosphere.

She hopes her book will encourage children to appreciate nature and use their imagination, resonating with young readers through her storytelling.

TCFF's funding will support ongoing programs at the school, including Youth Clubs that offer nutritious meals and community-building activities.

This event is part of TCFF's 'Food From the Heart Campaign', which aims to address child poverty and food insecurity in the UK.

Since 2020, TCFF has provided over 3.5 million meals across the UK and Brazil, demonstrating their dedication to tackling food insecurity.

The event's co-hosts expressed gratitude for the partnership with TCFF, emphasizing the joy it brings to children who often lack such experiences.

Ferguson, who has faced personal challenges including two cancer diagnoses, has found writing to be a therapeutic escape and dedicated her book to her four grandchildren.
