Author Andrzej Sapkowski has announced a new Witcher book, set to be released in Poland on December 1, 2024.

The new book will be a standalone story focused directly on the character Geralt, distinct from the existing Witcher pentalogy.

Sapkowski provided a rough estimate, indicating that the book should be available in bookstores during the first days of December.

This upcoming release marks the first new Witcher title in a decade, aligning with Sapkowski's previous statements about returning to the series.

Readers can expect a preview, as the first chapter of the new book will be published in the upcoming edition of Nowa Fantastyka magazine on November 22, 2024.

An international release is anticipated for early 2025, depending on the progress of translation.

While the title of the book has not yet been announced, details regarding the international release remain unavailable.

Sapkowski is currently restricted from revealing the book's title due to a marketing embargo imposed by his publisher.

In addition to the new book, a new all-ages graphic novel is being developed to connect kids and parents through bedtime stories featuring Geralt and Ciri.

The Witcher franchise continues to expand, with The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep anime scheduled for release in February 2025.

The franchise is experiencing a resurgence, with upcoming games including The Witcher 4 and a new project codenamed Project Sirius.

Furthermore, The Witcher Season 4 is currently in production and is expected to be released in 2025.
