Caracal Games and publisher Dear Villagers have announced the upcoming launch of their high-speed open-world action-adventure game, Star Overdrive, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on June 19, 2025.

Currently, Star Overdrive is available on Nintendo Switch, where it has received positive feedback, and a review is forthcoming.

The game features hoverboard navigation and racing, emergent physics-based gameplay, and exploration across four unique biomes filled with diverse challenges and secrets.

Players can engage in hoverboard racing, solve intricate puzzles using physics, and partake in strategic battles against a variety of creatures.
