McNealy will serve a four-year term on the policy board starting next year, while Mitchell will take on a three-year term.

This leadership transition occurs at a critical juncture for the PGA Tour, which is navigating a shift to a for-profit model and engaging in negotiations with Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, the owner of LIV Golf.

They replace outgoing chairmen Peter Malnati and Webb Simpson, who have completed their terms.

Their election is particularly noteworthy as they will join prominent players such as Tiger Woods, Camilo Villegas, Adam Scott, and Patrick Cantlay on the policy board.
