GOLF has unveiled its latest rankings for the Top 100 Courses in the U.S. and the Top 100 Courses You Can Play.

To compile these rankings, over 100 expert panelists evaluated golf courses nationwide, ensuring a thorough assessment of the best offerings in each state.

The rankings are based on a balanced consensus from a diverse group of international golf experts, providing a comprehensive evaluation of each course.

The course rating process is straightforward, utilizing a voting system from panelists who possess extensive experience in golf course architecture.

Among the top-ranked golf courses in North Carolina is the renowned Pinehurst No. 2, celebrated for its unique design by Donald Ross and set to host the U.S. Open in June 2024.

Another standout in North Carolina is Wade Hampton in Cashiers, which boasts stunning natural beauty and a layout designed by Tom Fazio that respects the landscape's grandeur.

Old Town Club in Winston Salem is also recognized for its classic golf architecture and challenging layout, making it a favorite among serious young players.

Additional notable courses in North Carolina include Tobacco Road, Mid Pines, and Quail Hollow, among others.
