The LPGA Tour is set to feature a record $127.5 million in official prize money for the 2025 season, marking an increase from $123.75 million in 2024.

Since 2021, total prize money has surged by 90%, adding over $62 million, with non-major tournaments alone offering $83 million and 16 events featuring purses of at least $3 million.

The 2025 LPGA season will kick off with the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions from January 30 to February 2 at Lake Nona Golf and Country Club, starting two weeks later than in previous years.

The season will conclude with the CME Group Tour Championship from November 20 to 23, 2025, at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida, featuring a substantial purse of $11 million.

The tour will span 33 events across 14 U.S. states and 11 countries, including significant tournaments in Asia, Europe, and the U.S.

LPGA Commissioner Mollie Marcoux Samaan emphasized the growth of the tour, highlighting increased prize money, improved athlete benefits, and a longer offseason for players.

Notable scheduling changes include the Hawaii stop occurring earlier in the fall Asia swing and the Chevron Championship being moved back a week to avoid conflicts with the Masters.

New events will debut in 2025, including the Black Desert Championship in Utah and the Riviera Maya Open in Cancun, Mexico, while the Toledo stop has been dropped after 40 years.

In a significant enhancement for players, LPGA golfers will receive fully subsidized health insurance starting in 2025, replacing previous stipends.

The schedule will include major events such as the U.S. Women’s Open, Amundi Evian Championship, and AIG Women’s Open, showcasing a mix of established and new venues.

The Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown, a 32-player match-play team event, will return in late October after a one-year hiatus, alongside the Grant Thornton Invitational featuring LPGA and PGA players.
