The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has launched a new certificate programme in Generative AI to address the growing global demand for expertise in artificial intelligence.

This six-month course is part of IIT Delhi's Continuing Education Programme (CEP) and aims to equip professionals with essential skills in AI.

The curriculum consists of six specialized modules, covering topics such as Mathematical Foundations for Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Generative AI for both Text and Vision.

Participants will gain in-depth skills in advanced AI methodologies, focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT, BERT, and T5, as well as Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF) and Vision-Language Models (VLMs).

Students will also learn about the responsible deployment of AI systems, ensuring ethical considerations are integrated into their training.

The programme emphasizes hands-on experience with industry-standard tools such as Python, NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, and TensorFlow, along with NLP tools like NLTK and spaCy for efficient data processing.

This course is designed to enhance career prospects across various industries, including technology, entertainment, healthcare, and finance.
