Amazon Luna Partners with EA to Boost Cloud Gaming, Expands to New Regions with 300+ Games
March 27, 2025
For the best cloud gaming experience, users are advised to have a reliable and fast internet connection.
Amazon Luna has signed a multi-year agreement with Electronic Arts (EA) to enhance its cloud gaming service by adding popular titles, including 'Star Wars Jedi: Survivor'.
This partnership allows EA games to be accessible across all platforms supported by Amazon Luna, significantly improving the gaming experience for users.
Luna is now available in several new regions, including Sweden, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Portugal, expanding its reach to 14 countries with over 300 games.
Prime subscribers in these regions can enjoy free monthly games through Prime Gaming, such as 'Overcooked! 2' and 'The Jackbox Party Pack 3', until the end of March 2025.
In addition to the current titles, Amazon plans to add more EA franchises, including select EA Sports games, to the Luna library in the coming months.
This collaboration aims to enhance the gaming experience by providing high-profile titles directly through the Luna platform.
The Luna+ subscription service, which costs $10 per month and includes a seven-day free trial, offers access to over 100 games.
Amazon has also introduced its own Luna controller, priced at $45, which is designed for optimal performance with the service and is compatible with existing controllers.
Amazon Luna competes with other cloud gaming services like Microsoft's Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia's GeForce Now, which also feature some EA games.
Mustafa Hakim, general manager of Amazon Luna, emphasized the commitment to making gaming more accessible and enjoyable for players across Europe.
The cloud gaming industry continues to grow, highlighted by recent investments and the increasing popularity of services like Luna.
