The PUBG MOBILE Super League SEA Spring 2025 kicks off today in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, featuring 24 teams from Southeast Asia competing for a total prize pool of USD 200,000.

The tournament will unfold over two weeks, with matches held every Wednesday to Sunday, culminating in the Grand Finals scheduled for March 14 to 16, 2025.

Teams are divided into three groups, and each week, only the top 16 teams will progress to compete for League Points during the Super Weekend.

After two Super Weekends, the top 16 teams with the highest League Points will qualify for the finals.

New entrants in this season's competition include HOMEBOIS, Team Secret, eARENA, and MGN VIKINGS ESPORTS, while BOOM eSports seeks to reclaim their title after being dethroned by VPE in the Fall season.

This season has expanded opportunities for local grassroots teams to qualify through local PMNC tournaments, which will precede each PMSL SEA.

The champion of PMSL SEA will secure an additional slot for their next local PMNC team to qualify for the following season, with the previous champion VPE qualifying TEM Entertainment for this season.

The tournament is organized by VSPO and will provide live updates across various official social media platforms.

TECNO has been announced as the Official Smartphone Partner for the 2025 season, introducing a new match format that includes a Super Weekend.

A new SMASH RULE format will be implemented during the second week of Super Weekend, establishing a Match Point that challenges the leading team to maintain their position.

PMNC teams qualified for this season include KAGENDRA, ENAM SEMBILAN Esports, MAQNA ESPORTS CLUB, NEW ERA, TEAM FLASH, STRANGERS Esports, and OsjaTH.
